A Decade+ of Milestones

Collaboration, LLC is Born

In 2009, Ryan Pinke identified a need in the market for a company solely dedicated to the emerging world of cloud-based video conferencing and collaboration, bringing the total cost of both the software and hardware down, and making the technology accessible for all sized companies.  These new applications also provided larger companies the opportunity to expand video collaboration at a fraction of the cost.

Online Catalog Goes live went live in 2011 as an online catalog for Video Collaboration and Conferencing hardware. Our first catalog focused primarily on video conferencing cameras, audio and accessories for conference rooms.  Most of our customers at that time required easy access and ordering as they expanded existing video collaboration platforms. 

Zoom Partnership Begins becomes an authorized reseller of Zoom cloud-based video conferencing. The expanded Zoom relationship allows us to provide a full end-to-end video conferencing solution to our customers.  Also, we continued to expand our partnerships with other industry leading vendors including Logitech, AVer, Yamaha, Phoenix Audio and Revolabs.  2014 also marked the year we began experimenting with “Room Kits”, designing standardized conference configurations including camera, audio, controls and accessories.

A Breakout Year

Our hard work paid pays off with several large enterprise customers, selling products and services globally.  Kody Capps joins the company to help with the increased amount of business. His expertise with sales, sales support, and account management are integral to keeping the company running smoothly. 

Introduced the year before, Zoom Rooms kits become a hit with our customers.  Creating an easy to understand and order “kit”, with everything included for a video collaboration conference rooms, changes the way we talk to customers, allowing them to focus on the room, create their own standard configurations and roll out projects faster.

Expanding partnerships with Phoenix Audio, Logitech and RingCentral

Expanding on Zoom Rooms Kits, we establish a partnership with RingCentral and begin selling conference rooms kits for their newly introduced video conferencing solution.  We also expanded our portfolio of room kits to include GoToMeeting, Microsoft Skype for Business (now Teams) and Google Hangouts (now Meets).  

Our technology partnerships with both Phoenix Audio and Logitech expand, becoming Gold level authorized for Phoenix Audio and Platinum level authorized with Logitech. 

In 2017, we moved into our new office space.  It included expanded warehouse and product staging space, giving us more room to test, stage and ship our room kits faster than ever. 

Named as one of only 24 companies to the inaugural Certified Zoom Rooms Integrator partner program was named one of only 24 companies to the inaugural Certified Zoom Rooms Integrator partner program. The program focuses on bringing the best solutions to the market. Our long-term partnership with Zoom and being one of the first integrators to make buying video conferencing rooms easy with pre-configured Kits, has paid off with this increased level of recognition.

Partner with Zoom for First Ever Zoom Authorized Zoom Rooms Kit Available on Amazon

We partnered with Zoom to bring the first Zoom Rooms kit to Amazon.  Linked directly from their website, this kit is based upon the Logitech Meetup and was one of the first kits to be created with the Zoom Rooms Certified Dell Optiplex.

New Branch office and vendors

We expanded beyond the borders of Colorado and opened an Austin, Texas office.  Also, we expanded our partnership with Polycom (now Poly) and created a new partnership with Nureva, one of the most innovative audio companies in our industry.

Operating Company Renamed to Cloud Connextions

Since the beginning, we have been dedicated to new technologies helping our clients work more efficiently.  Video Collaboration is only one area where this happens, but we believe there are multiple cloud connected services which will have the impact of video conferencing.  So it was time to change our name to reflect this emerging market.

New Office and Warehouse

Outgrowing our office space again, it was time to relocate our Denver office into newer, expanded facilities.  Our new office has double the number of conference rooms and warehouse floor space.  We now have enough room for our expanding number of sales and service employees.

2020 and beyond

In 2020, Cloud Connextions will extend our reach beyond video conferencing and collaboration and into the the market for cloud connected devices, including integrated access control systems.  As our strategy builds within the IoT industry, we will expand our product and service offerings.
